Why has the husband become stingy with his wife and reproaches her for what he spends, even though he is well-off?

If a husband spends on his wife and child according to what is customary, he is not considered stingy by limiting himself to that. The wife does not have the right to describe him as stingy based merely on words. His words should be interpreted in the best possible light, and one must have a good opinion of a Muslim.
