What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding a dispute between a Muslim husband and his Christian wife concerning the conversion of their son to Christianity, and the ensuing divorce, and to whom do the son's custody and expenses fall, and does the son inherit from his father?

The child follows the better of the two parents in religion, and therefore, the child follows his father. If the Christian wife attempts to Christianize the child, she must be prevented; if she does not comply, she should be divorced. The father has a greater right to his child's custody because custody cannot be established for a disbeliever over a Muslim. The child's maintenance is obligatory upon the father without dispute, and likewise, inheritance is established for him.
