If the land that the deceased registered in his wife's name was not a complete gift (Hiba) with its full conditions of possession, then it is to be divided among the heirs according to Sharia (definition), along with the rest of the properties (such as apartments, money, and shares). The wife receives one-eighth due to the existence of a lineal descendant (Surat An-Nisa, verse 12), and the daughters receive two-thirds (Surat An-Nisa, verse 11). The remainder goes to the full brother by way of asabah (residuary heir), in accordance with the Hadith (definition): "Give the Fara'id (prescribed shares) to those who are entitled to them; and whatever remains is for the nearest male relative."
