How is the inheritance divided among a wife, a son, a daughter, and a paternal grandmother?

If the deceased left behind only a paternal grandmother, a wife, a son, and a daughter, then the paternal grandmother receives one-sixth as her prescribed share, and the wife receives one-eighth as her prescribed share due to the presence of a lineal descendant (heir). The remainder goes to the son and daughter by way of ta'sib (residuary inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females. The estate is to be divided into seventy-two shares: the paternal grandmother receives twelve shares, the wife receives nine shares, the son receives thirty-four shares, and the daughter receives seventeen shares. Matters of inheritance should be referred to the Sharia courts for investigation.
