It is permissible for a woman to travel in pursuit of religious knowledge, provided that a mahram accompanies her and that the place of her residence is secure. If these conditions are not met, then it is not permissible for her to travel, and she can acquire knowledge through available means such as the internet, audio recordings, and books.
