Is it necessary to teach Tajweed to female friends before they begin memorizing, or can memorization commence initially without observing the rules of Tajweed?

Striving to learn and teach the Qur'an is among the greatest acts of nearness (to Allah), through which a servant attains goodness and honor, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best among you is he who learns the Qur'an and teaches it." It is recommended to memorize with tajwid and to practically apply its rules under the guidance of someone proficient in it, for this is the method of the righteous predecessors. Allah Almighty says: "And recite the Qur'an with measured recitation." And Ibn Al-Jazari said: "The Ummah is obligated to correct the pronunciation of the Qur'an's words and establish its letters according to the manner received from the imams of recitation, connected to the Prophetic presence."
