The answer

Summary of the Answer:

In a previous fatwa, we explained the remedy for sloth in acts of obedience, while also referring to other fatwas on the reasons for waking up for Fajr prayer. Satan is keen to distance creation from the truth, and his guile is weak except against those who are not sincere. Be honored by your worship of Allah, and know that Allah desires to turn to His servants in forgiveness, and He is Forgiving and Merciful. He extends His hand by night and day for repentance, and descends in the last third of the night, saying: "Is there any supplicant that I may grant his request? Is there any seeker of forgiveness that I may forgive him? Is there any invoker that I may respond to him?" Strive for what brings you closer to Allah, and the most beloved thing to Him are the obligatory duties. Increase in supplication that Allah may help you to remember Him, thank Him, and worship Him well, and that He may open your heart to faith, make His obedience beloved to you, and make His disobedience hateful to you.
