Is this action considered hypocrisy, and what is the effective way to immediately commit to religious duties?

A Muslim's failure to perform religious duties is a cause for Allah's wrath. If a person is diligent in observing all prayers except Fajr, they must take measures to wake up. If they do not wake up, there is no sin upon them, and the prayer becomes obligatory upon them when they awaken. As for someone who resolves to maintain prayers but then fails to do so, if they deny the obligation of prayer, they are disbelievers by the consensus of scholars. If it is due to laziness, the majority of scholars consider this a heinous major sin, while Hanbalis deem it an act of disbelief. Repentance and a prompt return to observing prayers are obligatory, along with making up all missed prayers. If the exact number is unknown, one must continue making them up until it is highly probable that their obligation has been fulfilled. The feeling of weakness in vigilance that a person experiences is a deficiency in turning to Allah and is not hypocrisy; rather, recognizing the problem is the beginning of the solution. To adhere steadfastly to Allah's commands, it is advised to frequently remember Allah (dhikr), avoid sins, make abundant supplications (du'a), seek righteous company, and distance oneself from bad companions.
