What are the permissible places for swimming?

It is permissible to swim in secluded places where one is safe from the exposure of one's nakedness, and in swimming pools shared by men or by women, provided that their nakedness is covered. It is absolutely permissible between spouses, provided that no one sees them. As for mixed swimming pools or those where one is not safe from the exposure of nakedness, they are not permissible. One who swims with others must lower their gaze and avoid afflicting people with the evil eye.
