Does sin befall the one who speaks with the married woman, or the family who requested the divorce, and what is the expiation for that after the husband refused forgiveness?

Calls and messages between non-mahram men and women are a gateway to discord and corruption, leading to the ruin of homes and the deterioration of religion and morals. The expiation for what has been done is to repent to Allah with remorse and a firm resolve not to return to it. The husband of the woman has been asked for forgiveness. One should remain steadfast in repentance, increase in seeking forgiveness, strive in good deeds, and supplicate. Sincere repentance is accepted, for the one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin.
