Is refraining from using modern technologies, such as smartphones, computers, and the internet, due to their potential harm to religion and worldly life, considered a correct way to deal with them?

Among the signs of a person's faith is the sincerity of their devotion and their avoidance of anything that negatively impacts their relationship with their Lord. So, whoever perceives that modern communication tools distance them from the truth and do not bring them closer to it, and that they cannot benefit from them without harm, then they are not to be blamed for abandoning them. These tools are not obligatory. However, it is more complete for a person to utilize them for what benefits them in their afterlife and their worldly life, while avoiding their drawbacks, in accordance with the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Be keen on what benefits you."
