Is it wise to abandon computers and electronics entirely because they lead one away from obedience to Allah?

Computers and similar devices are permissible in principle. Their ruling depends on their usage, as they can be impermissible (haram), disliked (makruh), or permissible (mubah), because means take the rulings of their ends. Therefore, it is permissible to sell or gift the aforementioned devices to someone who will not use them for impermissible purposes. However, using them if they lead to committing disobedience or neglecting an obligation is impermissible, and it must be avoided in such cases.
