Is it permissible to sell figures or images in the form of angels or a cross?

Selling and buying pictures of animate beings, and selling the cross, are forbidden due to the many authentic narrations (ahadith) that prohibit such acts. This is also because whoever makes or sells a cross is cursed, as it is an accursed object. Whoever receives payment for an accursed object should donate it as charity and repent.
