Is it permissible to name a mosque after its builder?

There is no objection to attributing the mosque to its builder or to a righteous man. One must be sincere in their actions for the sake of Allah the Almighty to attain reward, for whoever builds a mosque for Allah, even if it is as small as a bird's nest, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.
