Al-Haythami said in Majma' al-Zawa'id: "It contains Umar ibn Shamir al-Ja'fi and Al-Harith ibn al-Khazraj, and I have not found anyone who translated their biographies." Ibn al-Jawzi mentioned it in Al-'Ilal al-Mutanahiyah with another chain of narration from Ibn Abbas, part of it, and said: "This hadith is not known except through this channel, and it contains unknown narrators."
