The answer

This hadith is fabricated, so it is not permissible to attribute it to the Prophet (peace be upon him), nor to narrate it from him, except to explain its status and to warn against narrating it; because of his (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever narrates a hadith from me which is thought to be a lie, then he is one of the liars."

There is another hadith with the wording: "The deceased in his grave is like a drowning person seeking help..." and it is very much denounced (munkar jiddan).

Also, the hadith: "When you supplicate for the deceased, the angel enters upon him with a plate of light..." We have not found any origin for it from the Prophet (peace be upon him). All these hadiths are not permissible to mention or attribute to the Prophet (peace be upon him), because matters of the Barzakh (interim period between death and resurrection) are among the unseen matters that it is not permissible to delve into without knowledge.
