What can a person do who suffers from a spinal curvature with which Allah created him, preventing him from performing prayer and ablution like an ordinary person, and what are the other ways of praying, and are there additional tips for him?
The questioner must do what they can and what they cannot do is waived for them, according to the Almighty’s sayings: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity," and "So fear Allah as much as you are able," and "He has not placed upon you in religion any difficulty." And according to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Pray standing; if you are unable, then sitting; if you are unable, then on your side," and "Whatever I have forbidden you, avoid it; and whatever I have commanded you, do of it as much as you are able." If they are able to perform a specific standing, it is obligatory for them. If they are able to perform ablution by themselves, even if standing or in any state they are able to, it is obligatory for them. If they are unable and find someone to help them perform ablution, it is obligatory for them, even if for a fee.
