Is the punishment for sins committed on Friday more severe than the punishment for committing them on other days?

First: Friday is a blessed day, specially designated by Allah for this nation. It is the best of days, and on it Adam was born and entered Paradise. It is also the day when the people of Paradise will gather with their Lord.

Second: A bad deed is recorded as one and is not multiplied in number. However, its severity and punishment may be intensified due to the sanctity of the time or place, such as committing a sin on Friday or in sacred places. This makes its recompense more severe than if it were committed on other days or in other places.
