Is it permissible to drink tea and take money in exchange for donating blood, and is it permissible to give the money as charity to the the poor if taking it is not permissible?

It is permissible to donate blood to those in need, but it is forbidden to sell it or take money for it, due to Allah’s saying: ﴿Forbidden to you are carrion, blood, the flesh of swine…﴾, and the saying of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: “Indeed, when Allah forbids a people from eating something, He also forbids them from its price.” And what specialized entities give to the donor, such as food or money, does not fall under forbidden selling; rather, it is for the purpose of kindness, beneficence, and averting harm. It is permissible to take it, provided that the donor did not originally intend to sell it.
