Is it permissible to invite friends and scholars from distant places, offer hospitality, and rent a car from the inheritance money for the funeral prayer?

The deceased benefits from a large number of people praying over the جنازة (funeral bier). Nevertheless, there is a command to hasten with the جنازة. Therefore, one should be keen to invite people and gather as many as possible, but without slowness or delay in burial. It is not recommended to invite friends and scholars from a distant place if that leads to delaying the burial, unless it does not lead to that and fast transportation is available. Waiting for the deceased's guardian (wali) to arrive is confirmed. As for taking the cost of hospitality and renting cars for the mourners from the deceased's estate, it is not permissible except with the consent of all heirs.
