Is the correct wording in Al-Tabarani's Hadith: "a white pillar as if it were a banner" or "as if it were a pearl"?

The apparent wording of the hadith is "pearl" (لؤلؤة), as it appeared in the sources consulted. Ibn Asakir narrated it from Al-Tabarani with this wording, and Al-Albani authenticated it without commenting on this word. As for the mention of the hadith with the word "banner" (لواء) in Fath al-Bari, it is probable that it was a mistake by the transcriber, and Allah knows best what is correct.
