Is the definition of serrated front teeth considered altering God's creation?

There is no harm in straightening teeth if the serration is considered a defect or disfigurement. This does not fall under the hadith cursing those who make spaces between their teeth for beauty, because what is forbidden is the act done to seek beauty. However, if there is a need for it for treatment or due to a defect, then there is no objection.
