Is it permissible to expose one's 'awrah while performing wudu if one is in seclusion?
Uncovering one's nakedness (awrah) is disliked when alone. However, if it is in the presence of someone who can see it—other than one's wife or slave woman—it is forbidden (haram). In the Hadith: "Guard your nakedness except from your wife or what your right hand possesses." When asked, "What about a man with another man?" he replied: "If you can ensure that no one sees it, then do so." And when asked, "What about a man when he is alone?" he said: "Allah is more deserving that one feels bashfulness before Him."
