What is the best way to hold the Qur'an while reading from it?

A Muslim must show reverence for the Book of Allah, so he should not touch it unless he is in a state of purity, as Allah Almighty says: "None touch it except the purified." He must also keep it away from impurities and disrespect, hold it with reverence and veneration, and turn its pages gently. He then has a choice regarding the manner in which he holds it, as there is no preferred method among scholars.
