What is the authenticity of this supplication, and are its meanings correct: "O Allah, verily You are safe from everything, and everything is afraid of You. So by Your safety from everything and by the fear of everything from You, safeguard me from what I fear, O Allah, O Allah, O Concealer, O Concealer, conceal me with Your protective veil with which You veiled Your Self, so no eye sees You and no hand reaches You. And there is no might or power except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great, and Allah is sufficient for me, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs"?

The aforementioned supplication is not found in the Qur'an or Sunnah, nor was it ever uttered by any of the predecessors of the Muslim nation. Furthermore, it contains the following issues:

- Describing Allah as "safe from everything" is not found with this wording in the texts.

- Naming Allah as "O Satir" (O Veiler/Concealer) is not found in the texts, and it is better to avoid using names and attributes not explicitly mentioned.

- The assertion that "everything is afraid of Him, the Exalted" is incorrect, as many people do not fear Allah.

- The servant's request to his Lord to veil him with the veil with which He veiled Himself is a crude and reprehensible statement, for Allah is not seen by vision due to His luminous veil, not due to veiling Himself.

A Muslim should observe proper etiquette in supplication and confine themselves to the supplications found in the Qur'an and Sunnah.
