What is the ruling on a wife's disobedience to her husband by refusing to discuss things with him and leaving him to sleep in another room because of his insults to her, knowing that she is pregnant and going through difficult health conditions?

The nature of family life requires patience, understanding, and knowledge of the rights of both parties. A wife must obey her husband in what is good. Therefore, the wife should have responded to her husband's request for discussion to resolve problems. For a wife to sleep in a separate room while her husband needs her for intimacy is among the grave sins, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "If a man calls his wife to his bed and she refuses to come, and he spends the night angry with her, the angels curse her until morning." The husband, in turn, must fear Allah, treat his wife kindly, and refrain from insulting or abusing her, for "insulting a Muslim is a transgression." Harming a Muslim falls under Allah's saying: "And those who harm believing men and believing women undeservedly have certainly burdened themselves with slander and manifest sin."
