Did a Companion and a Tabi'i exist in the sixth century AH, and who were they?

It is definitively established that no Companion of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, remained alive after one hundred and ten years from the Hijra, as the last Companion to pass away was Abu al-Tufayl 'Amir ibn Wathilah, may Allah be pleased with him. The proof for this is the agreed-upon hadith from Ibn 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with both of them, who said: "The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in the 'Isha prayer in the last part of his life. When he had finished the prayer, he stood up and said: 'Do you see this night of yours? At the end of one hundred years from it, none of those who are on the surface of the earth will remain.'"

As for what some scholars have mentioned regarding the story of an old man named Ratan al-Hindi, who appeared in the seventh century AH and claimed Companionship, he was a lying charlatan. As for the existence of a Tabi'i in the sixth century AH, it is almost impossible and unheard of.
