Is the questioner considered an adversary and included in the Hadith regarding disputants, after a police officer cursed him at the police station outside of working hours, without the questioner retaliating with insults?

On Mondays and Thursdays, Allah forgives every servant who does not associate anything with Him, except for those who are in dispute, and He says: "Leave these two until they reconcile." Also, on the night of mid-Sha'ban, Allah looks upon His creation and forgives all of them, except for a polytheist or one who is in dispute. Bitterness (al-shahna') means enmity and hatred among believers.
