A man died and left behind a father, a mother, a wife, and two daughters. What is the share of each of them?

If a man's heirs are limited to his parents, his wife, and his two daughters, then his estate is divided as follows:

Each of the parents receives one-sixth (4 shares) due to the presence of offspring, based on the Almighty’s saying: "And for his parents, each of them the sixth of what he left if he had a child." The wife receives one-eighth (3 shares) due to the presence of offspring, based on the Almighty’s saying: "But if you have a child, then for them [the wives] is the eighth of what you leave." The two daughters receive two-thirds (16 shares) because they are more than one and there is no male heir to make them residuaries, based on the Almighty’s saying: "But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two thirds of what he left," and based on the saying of the Prophet (PBUH): "Give the two daughters of Sa'd two-thirds."

The original basis of the inheritance is 24, but it increases to 27 (awl). The wealth is divided into 27 shares: 4 for the father, 4 for the mother, 3 for the wife, and 16 for the two daughters (8 for each).
