Is it obligatory to repay charity if one intended to give it monthly and handed it to her husband to deliver to charitable organizations, but he was compelled to spend it on household needs?

Thank you for your effort in doing good and helping those in need, for Allah helps His servant as long as the servant helps his brother. It is not permissible for your husband to dispose of your money, which you entrusted to him for charities, except with your permission. If you permit him to spend it when needed, there is no blame on him, and you should replenish the money to continue doing good deeds, for "The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are most consistent, even if they are few." If you do not replace it, there is no obligation upon you, because a mere intention does not necessitate that, but a vow does, and you have not made a vow.
