What is the ruling on selling computer-designed models or images of inanimate objects, such as furniture and cars, which are sold electronically and can be purchased by more than one person?

There is no harm in making, selling, or possessing models of inanimate objects. What is prohibited in imaging is that which has a soul, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever makes a picture in this world will be commanded on the Day of Resurrection to breathe life into it, but he will not be able to breathe life into it." And his saying: "Every maker of images will be in the Fire, and for every image he made, a soul will be created for it, and it will torment him in Hell."
