What is the ruling on selling men's watches and glasses, and sanitary ware and tools plated with gold for men and women?

It is not permissible to sell utensils and sanitary ware plated with gold or silver to men and women, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibition of eating and drinking from them. The remaining uses are likewise prohibited as a preventative measure (sadd al-dhari'a). It is also not permissible to sell watches and eyeglasses plated with gold or silver to men.
