Is it permissible for a woman to remain with her husband who practices sodomy, or must she seek a divorce?

Sodomy is one of the gravest sins and indecencies, and its perpetrator deserves punishment and disgrace. If the husband practices sodomy, the wife must forbid him, urge him to repent, explain to him the enormity of the sin, instill in him the fear of Allah's punishment, and help him strengthen his connection with his Lord, associate with the righteous, and attend gatherings of remembrance. If he persists, she has the right, and it is even commendable for her, to seek a divorce from him, because of his abandonment of Allah's rights.
