Which group represents the true Salafi methodology in Tunisia: Jihadi Salafism or Scholarly Salafism, given the existing disagreement between them regarding the issue of ruling by other than what Allah has revealed and declaring the state and ruler to be disbelievers?

Specific rulings on individuals and particular groups have controls and means that are not available to us. The methodology of thef Salaf is clear to anyone who purifies themselves from desires and dedicates themselves sincerely to Allah. We advise you to hold fast, all of you, to the rope of Allah, to be keen on unity and agreement, to cooperate in righteousness and piety on what you agree upon, and to refer what you differ about to the people of knowledge. Matters of ijtihad should not be a cause for division. As for the issue of ruling by other than what Allah has revealed, we have many fatwas on this matter that can be consulted.
