What is the way for repentance to be accepted after repeated abortions from an illicit relationship, followed by marriage?
Allah is Forbearing and conceals the sins of a servant despite their disobedience. You have committed a grave sin through adultery and abortion. Adultery is a major sin, and abortion is another crime. Whoever repents sincerely, Allah accepts their repentance. The repentance for adultery involves cessation, regret, firm resolve not to return to it, and increasing good deeds. As for the repentance for abortion, it requires the payment of ghurrah (five camels or 212.5 grams of gold) if the fetus was stillborn. If it was born alive and then died, a full diyah (blood money) is required (one hundred camels or one thousand gold mithqals), along with expiation by fasting for two consecutive months. Scholars differ on whom the diyah is incumbent upon. Regarding the second abortion, if the fetus had already formed, ghurrah is required; otherwise, only repentance is needed. Your marriage to her is permissible after repentance and after she gives birth (if pregnant).
