Is the Rock of Jerusalem, from which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ascended to heaven, suspended in mid-air by the power of Allah?

Everything in the universe is fixed in its place by Allah's permission, including the Rock of Jerusalem. It is not suspended in space; rather, it remains an integral part of the mountain to which it belongs. Allah's power to hold parts of the universe in space is undeniable, just as He raised Mount Tur above the people of Moses, but the Rock of Jerusalem is fixed and connected to its mountain.
