Is the death of two sons in an accident and the injury of another a punishment from God for sins committed by the father? And what is the advice regarding this matter?

The parent of the deceased should exercise patience and seek reward from Allah, for Allah Almighty gives glad tidings to the patient with mercy, forgiveness, and Paradise. Allah Almighty said: "And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to the patient, Who, when disaster strikes them, say, 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.' Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided."

The Prophet (peace be upon him) clarified that whoever loses a beloved one and remains patient, their reward is Paradise, and that whoever loses three children will not be touched by the Fire; rather, their children will be a shield for them from it.

Furthermore, calamities expiate sins and raise ranks, as in the saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him): "There is no Muslim who is afflicted by harm, be it a thorn or anything greater, except that Allah expiates his sins thereby as a tree sheds its leaves."
