Vaginal discharge invalidates ablution according to the majority of jurists, and this is the relied-upon opinion for fatwas. However, for a woman afflicted with continuous discharge, her ablution is not invalidated according to Imam Malik, and there is no harm in adopting this view, especially when there is a need.
