The question

What is the ruling on doubting the wording of an oath regarding its breach in various situations, such as: talking on the phone without another party, or postponing the exemption of a beard while leaving it for a short period, or violating advice after swearing not to pay attention to whispers, or fearing the occurrence of something merely by writing it, or doubting the wording of the oath after swearing by Allah?

The answer

The enquirer is not bound by anything concerning the oath he doubts occurred, nor by his divorce oath he doubts occurred, nor by his third oath, nor by anything from an oath or a breaking of an oath whose occurrence he does not predominantly believe. He owes an expiation for an oath regarding his oath not to grow his beard, and he must repent from this oath because it is an oath to commit a sin. The enquirer is advised to ignore obsessive thoughts and not dwell on them.
