What is the ruling on paying a sum of money to an intermediary in order to obtain a job in a government company without undergoing an examination, knowing that part of this money has been paid, and the other part will be paid after obtaining the job?

It is permissible to pay money to a middleman for employment if he exerts effort in searching for work and finalizing procedures without bribery or abrogating a right, provided the work is permissible and you are qualified for it. However, if he will rely on bribery or forging documents to establish falsehood or abrogate a right, it is not permissible to deal with him, and the inability to recover the amount does not make it permissible to continue with the forbidden transaction.
