Does repairing televisions in hotels that show pornographic channels make the money earned from this work unlawful?

If a person who repairs devices used for both permissible and impermissible purposes, such as televisions, becomes certain or strongly believes that they will be used for impermissible acts, or if the predominant use of such devices by people includes impermissible uses, then it is not permissible to repair them. This is because it constitutes aiding in sin, and the money earned from it is ill-gotten gain (kasb khabith) that must be spent on the welfare of Muslims or given as charity to the poor and needy. However, if one is certain or strongly believes that they will be used for permissible purposes, then there is no harm in repairing them. If the matter is equally balanced between permissible and impermissible use, then the more cautious approach is to refrain from repairing them. This also applies to repairing televisions in hotels and tourist areas if it is known that their guests predominantly use them for impermissible purposes.
