What is the ruling on selling forbidden things to disbelievers who deem them permissible, and does the ruling change based on the fact that disbelievers are not addressed by the subsidiary branches of Sharia?

According to the majority of scholars, disbelievers are addressed by the ancillary rulings of Sharia, such as prayer, Zakat, and fasting, and they will be punished for them in the Hereafter in addition to the punishment for disbelief.

Scholars have cited many verses to support this, including:

- Allah's saying: "O mankind, worship [your] Lord," and His saying: "And establish prayer and give zakah."

- And Allah's saying: "Indeed, those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah – We will add to them punishment upon punishment."

- And Allah's saying about the people of the Fire: "What admitted you into Saqar? They will say, 'We were not of those who prayed, Nor did we feed the poor.'"

As for disbelievers being addressed by the foundation of faith, punishments, and transactions, scholars have reached a consensus on this, and it is not permissible to buy or sell anything that Allah has forbidden for them.
