Is it permissible to be named Mutlab, and what is the meaning of Mutlab?

"Maṭlab" is derived from "ṭalab" (request/seeking), and its origin is "mutaṭallab" (that which is sought). It is a name that does not contain a meaning contrary to Islamic law, so there is no objection to being named with it.
