What is the expiation for someone who swore, "By Allah the Almighty, I will never drink it again, and you are like my mother to me if I ever return to it again," and then returned to drinking it?

What the husband uttered is a suspension of an oath and ẓihār upon drinking alcohol. By his returning to drinking alcohol, an expiation for breaking an oath becomes incumbent upon him, which is feeding ten poor people, or clothing them, or freeing a slave. Whoever cannot afford this should fast for three days. He also owes an expiation for ẓihār before he touches his wife, which is freeing a slave. Whoever cannot afford this should fast for two consecutive months. Whoever cannot do that should feed sixty poor people.
