Is it permissible, in Sharia, to invest in vending machines for beverages and snacks, and is it permissible to allocate their profits to the poor and needy?

Selling through vending machines is permissible in principle, because a sale is concluded by mutual consent according to the majority of scholars, and it does not require a verbal صيغة (formula/pronouncement), as affirmed by the Egyptian Dar Al-Ifta. Designating its profits for the poor and needy is a righteous and blessed intention.
