ما هو رأي شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية في دلالة "مِن" في الآية الأولى من سورة البينة، هل هي تبعيضية أم لبيان الجنس، وما سبب الإشكال في فهم كلامه؟

Ibn Taymiyyah holds that the word "min" (مِنْ) in the Almighty's saying: "Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to depart [from disbelief] until there came to them clear evidence" (Quran 98:1) is for specifying the genus, emphasizing that all people of the Scripture and polytheists who received the call of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and did not believe in him, are disbelievers. He clarifies that any potential misunderstanding from his words elsewhere, suggesting it is for partiality (tab'eed), is an error resulting from textual corruption, and that the general context of his discourse confirms his initial view. This opinion is supported by many exegetes such as Al-Zamakhshari, Al-Baydawi, Al-Qurtubi, Al-Jalalayn, and Ibn Ashour, while Al-Qasimi held that it is for partiality.
