The answer

Revocable divorce and its retraction do not nullify a suspended divorce. If you intended divorce by your wife going to her neighbor, then divorce has occurred according to the majority of scholars. You may take her back before her iddah (waiting period) is complete, and rajah (taking back) is not a new marriage contract. You cannot retract this divorce according to the majority of scholars, in contrast to Ibn Taymiyyah, who holds that retraction is permissible. The preponderant opinion is that of the majority of scholars.
