How do we reconcile the verse, "We have certainly created man in the best of stature," with the existence of children with congenital deformities, and does the description "congenital defect" imply a flaw in God's creation?

The exegetes interpreted the creation of man "in the best of stature" (ahsan taqwim) as his ability to walk upright and eat with his hands. The shortcomings of some people do not indicate a deficiency in God's actions, for God does what He wills, and His trials are for a wisdom He intended.
