How can the noble verse: "He fashioned you and perfected your forms" be reconciled with the existence of those born with deformities?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

There is no contradiction in man being created in the best form, as mentioned by An-Nasafi and Ash-Shirbini in their interpretations. His form is the best among all animal forms. And his upright posture, not bent, is part of the beauty of his form. As for the existence of those with deformities, that does not negate the beauty of their form, for beauty exists in degrees, and the ugliness of an ugly person is relative to one who is more beautiful, and Allah's power in this regard is limitless.
