Is it permissible to marry a girl who has recently converted to Islam if her family is non-Muslim and disapproves of her conversion or marriage? And will the testimony of two Muslim women, one Christian woman, and her Christian brother be accepted in the marriage contract? And can a Muslim woman be the guardian of the girl?

A woman is not permitted to be a guardian (wali) or a witness (shahid) in a marriage contract, as maleness is a condition for both roles.

If a girl does not have a Muslim guardian, she should be married by someone who acts in the place of a judge, such as Islamic centers, or she can delegate a Muslim man to handle her marriage.

It is not valid for a non-Muslim to witness the marriage of a Muslim woman.

It is advised to seek an Islamic center to complete the marriage in a legitimate manner.
